Private pipes

We were very fortunate to have two great bagpipers amongst our midst...announcing the Lady and the Laird, announcing dinner or just playing for pure enjoyment!

Grease, Loch Maree style!

Pink Ladies and T-birds gathered to give Mireille and Robert an evening to remember! All it took was a pink scarf, white shirts and jeans and some courageous folks to remake the ultimate love musical....(Un)Fortunately I only have one picture of the actual show and all I have to say is 'boogedy boogedy boogedy'!

Luckily all participants survived the performance...although some in better shape than others!

A day in the life a Lady

And what does the Lady have on her to do list?

1. Give speeches at candlelight dinners,

2. Have bangers and mash on toast with her minions

3 . Hold on tight to the Laird when surrounded by troubles, euh bubbles!

A day in the life of the Laird

So, what does a Laird do?

Well...

1. He pays poetic tribute to his Lady,

2. He struts his stuff (white man can sing AND dance),

3. He eats!

We proudly present: the Lady and the Laird!

Yes, the impossible has happened! It is possible to totally flabbergast Mireille!

She and her hubby received a piece of Scotland as an anniversary gift.
We now not only refer to them as the most inspirational couple, but also as the Lady and the Laird.

And when the two of them are not too busy managing their estate, they do what 'normal' people do...play pool!

Don't go chasing waterfalls

Mmm, not an advise we cared to follow....

We, and many others, took the walk down to (or would that be up to?) the Flowerdale waterfall. Easy 4km, with some nice Scottish showers by the time we reached the the top of the hill.

Somewhere over the rainbow

As you all saw, I have an ancient camera that requires a roll that I need to get developed....hence not too much images on this blog yet...

Patience is required and as most of you know not really something I am good at!

I hope this lovely view will keep you satisfied until next weekend (hoping the Kruidvat will deliver on time).

Welcome to the LochBlog

Hi All,

Those days at Loch Maree were soo impressive that I decided to create this blog, just to remember how wonderful it all was and to give us the possibility to share pictures!
It is my first venture into the world of blogging so apologies if not everything looks the way it probably could!

Love,

The Vickster
